Expectations Exercise
EXPECTATIONS
In this exercise, you will help yourself to write your images by determing, recognizing, and raising your awareness over what are the unconscious expectations you are carrying through into your life. Once you have determined who and what is being expected of you, you can choose what is right and fitting for you. Now you are free to image what it is you expect for YOURSELF.
1. Write the name of each person that has expectations of you, currently at this point in your life, on the left side.
2.Then, write what it is they expect of you in the column on the right.
3.Now, circle the expectations you want to keep; Cross off those that you don’t.
4.What is circled is what you transfer over when you are writing your images. These are the things you WANT in your image. This is the image you affirm to yourself daily. This is the image that you use as a guideline as to when to say "yes" or "no".
