The Mucosal Fraction of Personality

The Mucosal Personality

The Mucosal Fraction of Separation

Description

This personality gives and gives and gives, however the shadow side of this is that there still is usually selfish or self serving action behind it.  One needs to caution oneself that if they are giving, they need to give without attachment, and truly be giving for the joy of giving. When one is overdone, overwhelmed, overtired, doing too much, especially if there is attachment to what they will be getting for their getting, they will start having congestion, runny nose, drippiness, stuffiness, etc.

They have a hard time saying no, but usually because they want to “be someone’s hero”.  They want to be amazing and miraculous for people and thrive off of compliments in which they can be held in high esteem.

They tend to seek the spotlight in their career choices, like a guru or top dog in an industry, to be noticed and to appease that desire to be recognized.  If not they run at the nose, “as if they are crying” because that is really what is happening. They are crying tears they won’t shed and reaping the nuisance of the drippy face that is associated with a crying spell.    The mucous is unshed tears and frustration and perhaps resentment and bitterness.

This personality likes things how they like them and are strict on oneself for how things should be.  They tend to be judgemental of others because of this too. They fall prey to comparison and keeping up with the jones’s.  If they are not busy )chaotically busy), they will feel anxious and often act like a jitterbug, with their hands in 20 different things at a time.  It tends to be a female energy and can be seen as emotional, even over-so.

These people tend to be go-getters, always wanting to learn, be better, be the best.  They are often Type A Personality always wanting to do.

They have honey do lists and often you will see lists upon lists that they have for themselves.  They have a hard time delegating, though they believe all others should also have their lists and have no problem reminding them of what “should be on their lists”.  These personality, particularly female, can get accused of being controlling because of their business they often feel the need to control the people and environment around them in order to feel grounded and also so that they can keep up with all they want to accomplish

It is their need for action and “TO DO” that are their downfall, because they don’t truly take time to stop and listen in silence, waiting for direction and alignment with source energy to determine the next right step.  Instead, they find where they can push action to take them to their next goal.

Often times they are this dictatorial and organized, honestly, out of fear.

The light side of this personality:

The great things are that they can be counted upon, and are, frequently. They are always the ones people go to to get things done because they will and they will do it well.  They

They make excellent judges, jurors, lawyers, police people, civil servants, organizers,  human resource directors, managers, lead positions. All because of their great belief in justice and the “right way” to do everything.  They can see things as more cut and dried, black and white, than most. There is a right way to do things and as long as there is not attachment to believing there is only one right way, they will make great operations managers in which judgement and decisiveness is key.  However, in order for this personality to grow, they will need to learn how to release any judgement, and make a decision and be able to let it go. They will need to learn what is purposeful action and what is “busy” action and which is working towards the greater good.

They also are good with purposeful work where their activities serve a definite function.  They are great with understanding function principles, because it is something that makes sense.  In their “controlling” tendencies, they like things to make sense so they can feel in control, assured, and confident.  So they will tend to find work that is very functional, purposeful, and makes direct sense for why they are doing it.

They will obsessively wonder how they could have done something better.

Physically -

They will tend to have sinus related illness and inflammation, throat clearing, hoarseness.  They will often suffer from musckoskeletal disorders involving tight muscles and ultimately loss of muscle use or muscle weakness.  While the mucosal personality often tends to be towards the mucosal parts of the body we can see, like a runny nose or sinus congestion or earaches, it still involves ALL of the mucosal parts of the body which extends down the esophagus into the stomach and includes even the mucosal linings of the intestines.

In times of illness, they may tend towards allergies, unknown environmental toxins and smells will disrupt them, and they will tend towards lung and nasal illnesses like head and chest colds, bronchitis, and strep throat.

Healing -

They are not going to want anything to get in the way of their go go go ness, so relaxing, lying own, resting, and time spent in the sun is the last thing they will want, but is the best thing for them.  Time for fun, and WAITING for spiritual guidance and direction rather than PLANNING would be key for them. So learning meditation, or shall I say, learning to BE OK with meditation is key. In their daily life, it will help the go go feelings and resultant anxieties to learn to purge-journal, daily journal, satisfaction journaling, and having a planner that they can write in(not digital) so that all thoughts can clear the brain.

Lymphatic stimulating exercises like swinging, slides, mini rebounder, stability ball, focus training like ballet or tai chi that have specific focused exercises, energetic walks are great to support the lymphatic system that will typically be the resultant sluggish functioning system.

Eating good fibers through fruits and vegetables will be important and learning to steer clear of congestive function, inflammatory foods from the Congestor category of the Food FX chart.  Avoidance or regulation of dairy, grain and sugar.

Dry skin brushing, oil pulling, regular and consistent massage or thai yoga massage are great for this personality.

HIIT exercises will suit this personality well as far as maintenance movement exercises for health, largely because they are efficient, short workouts that are to the point.

This personality needs to learn how to have fun (that isn’t multi-tasked) like going to a benefit that sure, you are going to have fun at, but it’s also serving a purpose.  How about just watching a movie for the pure enjoyment of it, not because $2 of the admission price goes to kids with cancer? Those activities are great, but it’s like the mucosal personality can’t relax unless there is a purpose to everything they do.

Rock Water and Vervain are excellent Bach Flower Remedies to use regularly.

Raising the Mucosal Child:  (These techniques will work with the adult as well)

They need creativity.  Time to explore their ideas.  And nature. It is imperative that they learn how to have fun in nature.  Make walks and nature hunts a regular family activity. Go to the park and swing on the swings.  Remember that all of these tendencies are positive and capitalize on them, and that they are only negative and shadow sides to them if they dictate this personality’s life.  Let them be in rolls that are “in charge” and teach them how to see all sides, and compassion and understanding, and then how not to attach to the decisions after studying the facts.

When you see them getting all bound up, emotionally, or they can’t calm down, or they are jitterbugging all over the place, have them drop their shoulders and take a deep breath.  Have them focus on their muscles relaxing and then help them consciously decide what action they want to do next. This will come from a better place of being able to think things through rather than action based.  These students are typically Aplus learners, by the way, unless they are emotionally over-involved, bullied, put down, or don’t believe they are doing a good job. Then it will seem as if they are an emotional mess.  Because they need time for fun and action that doesn’t involve a purpose, it has to be planned into the day because then it will seem purposeful, because ‘it’s just part of the plan”. If it is not planned in, those of this personality will go and go like the energizer bunny until they collapse.    They are often expectant of routine and don’t like to be distracted from it. A relaxing evening routine that includes massage before sleeping is a great way to help them settle down.

WHAT ARE THE CONCEPT PATHOLOGY FRACTIONS OF PERSONALITY?

The Concept Pathology Fractions of Personalities are fractions of the whole that portray themselves in separation (in individual beings). They are the dominant conceptual conditioning that regulate a person’s acceptance of beliefs and thought systems.  These beliefs are the constructs that subliminally direct our actions, and behaviors, thus creating our life.

While most people will have a single dominant personality, it is possible that over time and as they grow and change that they may adopt other fractions of personality.  Generally, however, they will retain the same basic personality throughout their life. It is ultimately the goal to reintegrate into one wholeness.

Over my years in practice as a natural health practitioner, I have come to recognize patterns of particular behaviors and grouped them into common headings that it seemed my clients were falling into and identified 6 typical conceptual pattern groupings most people fit into.

While anyone can attach to any concept, each of the  particular personalities are more likely to absorb, accept, and adhere to certain types of concepts.  These make up the particulars of each personality group.

For example:  The Good Girl/Good Boy Personality is more likely to accept concepts about self worth, value,  and confidence.

The Liver Personality is more likely to have difficulty with words they perceive harshly, and will adopt more concepts about being good enough.

You can see the slight variations.  But knowing the personalities will help you help yourself better, understand why you think the way you do, and decide if you want to retain those concepts.  It will help you understand your natural purpose, why you do the things you do and what the tendencies for your health will be.

These are:

The Good Girl/Good Boy Personality

The Liver Personality

The Chameleon Personality

The Digestive Personality

The Heart Personality

The Mucosal Personality
